West Virginia Penitentiary: A fearful and dark place

West Virginia Penitentiary is an immense building, with so much to explore. Last month I got to check off one of my Paranormal bucket list locations when my wife Genna and I visited the West Virginia Penitentiary in Moundsville WV. The place is immense, foreboding and fortress like. And would be intimidating to any prisoner or guest that stepped inside. Moundsville Pen is known as one of the bloodiest prisons in American history with nearly 1,000 documented deaths.  Posing at the main entrance. Photo by Genna Cameron Photography. We took the guided tour first to get a lay of the place and it was thankfully still daylight when we did so it was a little less creepy. Because honestly this place is very unsettling in the dark. Welcome to my new blog!

Molly Stark Tuberculosis Hospital in Louisville Ohio (Not open to the public so PLEASE don't break in). Hello there. Welcome to my new blog. I started this curious little paranormal blog to talk about and show some of the amazing places that I have had the luck of exploring. My interest in the paranormal started about 12 years ago while living in an apartment after college that was very haunted. I started to realize that the extreme cold spots, phantom smells, electronics and lights turning on, late night footsteps and the occasional moved object (more on my experiences later) was very similar to what I was seeing on a that new show GHOST HUNTERS. When I realized that often the things they would find were the same things I was experiencing. I was a believer. And have been hooked on the idea of finding out and experiencing the paranormal in very real ways ever since.
