Hello there. Welcome to my new blog. I started this curious little paranormal blog to talk about and show some of the amazing places that I have had the luck of exploring. My interest in the paranormal started about 12 years ago while living in an apartment after college that was very haunted. I started to realize that the extreme cold spots, phantom smells, electronics and lights turning on, late night footsteps and the occasional moved object (more on my experiences later) was very similar to what I was seeing on a that new show GHOST HUNTERS. When I realized that often the things they would find were the same things I was experiencing. I was a believer. And have been hooked on the idea of finding out and experiencing the paranormal in very real ways ever since. One of my hopes for The Paranormal Exploration Club (The PEC) is to show these amazing places to friends who may not have ever had an experience.  So I hope you enjoy the blog and keep checking back for updates. I've got some recent pics and videos from West Virginia Penitentiary to share as well as some stuff from some older Exploration trips. See you again soon friends!

West Virginia Penitentiary: A fearful and dark place

West Virginia Penitentiary is an immense building, with so much to explore. Last month I got to check off one of my Paranormal bucket list locations when my wife Genna and I visited the West Virginia Penitentiary in Moundsville WV. The place is immense, foreboding and fortress like. And would be intimidating to any prisoner or guest that stepped inside. We took the guided tour first to get a lay of the place and it was thankfully still daylight when we did so it was a little less creepy. Because honestly this place is very unsettling in the dark.
